The Celtic Room c1907 was a substantial commission in the early career of the Celtic craft entrepreneurs on the island of Iona, Scotland.
In the period of the commission, Alexander Ritchie and Euphemia Ritchie had established their 'Iona Celtic Art’ brand of jewellery, metalwork, engraving and enamelling. With a silversmithing workshop and shop.
As custodians, the Ritchie’s produced their own map of the island of Iona.
